However, maybe i will just study portuguese during geography and philosophy, because those are the two classes that i have absolutely no idea what is going on.AlliB.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13893487344565241329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4983956887919070756.post-40450030496312935042009-02-01T17:56:00.000-08:002009-02-01T17:56:00.000-08:00alli!(of course my dad offered you a map -- as if ...alli!
(of course my dad offered you a map -- as if that's going to help...oh boy!)
ANYWAY! it's so exciting to read your blog. It sounds like everything is going great so far! it's weird to reminisce about my experience to Chile and the first few weeks...learning the language is the most exhausting thing. and YES -- staying out til 4! or 6am! That was rough. Do your grades count? If not, I advise that you just dont care about classes at all haha -- I used my class time to practice Spanish instead...
Your family sounds so great! I'm so happy for you...and I've heard wonderful things about Lisboa!
Cant wait to hear more...
love you and thinking of you!
Heidiheidihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16886270020331105175noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4983956887919070756.post-65679289411788729322009-01-31T23:33:00.000-08:002009-01-31T23:33:00.000-08:00Hey Alli, tried to call you today, maybe we'll con...Hey Alli, tried to call you today, maybe we'll connect tomorrow. just got back from dinner with ray and julie. snow here, ski tomorrow. love dMaryLynn Barnwellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06648159900261490432noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4983956887919070756.post-62883993220217625132009-01-31T21:02:00.000-08:002009-01-31T21:02:00.000-08:00ali,your classes sound interesting. Helen tells a great story about her AFS time--she was like you, new to the country (Finland) and had to try to understand what the heck they were talking about. The only thing she could understand was calculus on the blackboard. The hard part was that she did well at it, and her host sister didn't! Anyway, it all sounds good. On geography, let me know if you have any questions. I have a great map of Spain-Portugal in Roman times if your teacher is interested.

Uncle CharlieTeleAKcharliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16249023618905531622noreply@blogger.com
